About the role
The Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) program is seeking an Electronics Engineer to join the Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) team. This position does not support teleworking; you will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in: Littleton CO and be expected to work a flexible 9x80 schedule in the office full-time.
Responsibilities
- Participate in requirements analysis, configuration determination, design, alterations, material procurement, manufacturing, test and acceptance for a wide variety of electrical and electromechanical test systems and multifunction integrated test equipment in support of the US Navy’s Ballistic Missile Flight Test Program.
- Mentor Junior engineers, interface extensively with out customers, as well as senior leadership.
- Create/update project/process documentation that align to project requirements.
- Specific Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:
- Lead the design, procurement, assembly, test and verification of our automated test systems, including data review and trending.
- Develop hardware requirements from subsystem to all locally assigned support equipment test systems.
- Interface with suppliers, customer and internal design teams to provide cost effective and low risk solutions.
- Develop test system design documentation to communicate proposed designs to internal design and business teams, vendors and customers.
- Have experience in a programming language relevant for quick turn applications. (LabVIEW, TestStand, Python, C#, etc)
- Support, as required, Failure Review Board activities through closure.
Requirements
- Experience leading projects teams and development efforts.
- Issue Tracking experience.
- Must be able to work autonomously and drive items to closure.
- Capability to lead a team responsible for development and test of integrate test systems, and experience as Subject Matter Engineer or equivalent.
- Demonstrated an ability to lead/coordinate with small diverse teams in development of tech products.
- Experience reading schematic diagrams and other technical documentations.
- Experience troubleshooting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or a related discipline or equivalent experience/combined education.
- Hardware development experience.
- Strong technical background with Automated Test Equipment (ATE) or other similar systems.
- Experience in one or more of the following: Creo, Windchill, Zuken, PSPICE.
- Experience in one or more of the following: LabVIEW, TestStand, Python, C#.
Skills
- Ability to work remotely.
- Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Pay
Commensurate with experience.
Schedule
Flexible 9x80 schedule in the office full-time.
