Test Engineer III

About the Role

Engineers apply the theories and principles of science and mathematics to research and develop economical solutions to technical problems. Their work bridges perceived social needs and commercial applications. In this role, you will design products and machinery, implement improved methods for extracting, processing, and utilizing raw materials such as petroleum and natural gas, and develop new materials to enhance product performance while leveraging advances in technology. You will also analyze the environmental and user impact of developed products or systems.

Beyond design and development, this position involves testing, production, or maintenance responsibilities, including supervising production, diagnosing breakdown causes, and ensuring product quality through testing. Additionally, you will estimate project time and costs.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, report, and direct operational tests, with a focus on unmanned systems.
• Analyze and report on test results of side scan sonar Automated Target Recognition (ATR) algorithms used on unmanned underwater vehicles.
• Supervise production, troubleshoot breakdowns, and test manufactured products to maintain quality.
• Estimate time and cost requirements for projects.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience designing, executing, reporting, and directing operational tests, including unmanned systems.
• 2 years of experience analyzing and reporting on the test results of side scan sonar Automated Target Recognition (ATR) algorithms used on unmanned underwater vehicles.
• Bachelor of Science degree.
• Active Secret security clearance.
