Test Engineer I - Electronics
About the role
Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Test Engineer I - Electronics to join our team. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products through effective test engineering practices.
Responsibilities
- Aid in the development and execution of electronic test equipment strategies and plans.
- Support the design and implementation of electronic test equipment methodologies and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define electronic test equipment requirements and specifications.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in technical disciplines such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
- One year of experience in test engineering or a related field.
- Experience with circuit board troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of test methodologies and tools.
- Experience with basic Microsoft tools.
- Troubleshooting skills involving computers, computer cards, and electronic equipment.
Qualifications
- Advanced Engineering degrees such as ME (Mechanical Engineering), EE (Electrical Engineering), MET (Mechanical Engineering Technology), or EET (Electrical Engineering Technology).
- Experience in a manufacturing or product development environment.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Continuous learning mindset and adaptability to new technologies.
