About the Role
Assemblers perform tasks necessary to the production process, including fabrication, maintenance, and repair of component parts and products. They maintain tidy work areas and follow detailed instructions to meet safety and quality requirements. A successful assembler has an aptitude for mechanics, an eye for detail, and the ability to comprehend and follow technical instructions, diagrams, and blueprints.
Responsibilities
- Perform environmental testing on passive RF/Microwave components, including high power testing, thermal testing, vibration, shock, and altitude, both in-house and at outside vendors.
- Identify proper test procedures and equipment needs to meet customer product testing requirements.
- Participate in the development engineering gate process, performing Test Readiness Reviews (TRR) on new products.
- Communicate with sales and program managers on test plan timelines and cost.
- Collaborate with the Production Team and Test Technicians to investigate testing challenges and improve product-specific yield.
- Provide process-level data to support continuous improvement efforts in manufacturing processes, tooling, and hardware.
- Evaluate existing test equipment and recommend improvements to increase capabilities and test throughput.
- Participate in crisis-avoidance teams (Red Shed) to resolve issues with troublesome parts in WIP.
- Contribute to continuous improvement teams and efforts.
- Create Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) and Qualification Test Procedures (QTP) based on customer requirements.
- Work with the Quality team to prepare customer-required test paperwork, including Acceptance Test Reports (ATR) and Qualification Test Reports (QTR).
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Experience working with RF Network Analyzers.
- Experience working with and testing for MIL-Spec test requirements.
- Experience writing test procedures and test reports.
- Goal-oriented with a passion and ability to drive change.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree and/or relevant job roles demonstrating progression of skills.
- Previous experience as a Test Engineer desired.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
