Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Cook up project testing activities and keep an eye on how things are going.
• Help out the junior members of the team and welcome new colleagues.
• Write down what you find out about testing, like estimates and plans.
• Create and run tests for both regular and unusual parts of the system.
• Maintain collections of tests that check if the system still works after changes and tests that quickly show if something is wrong.
• Work with programmers to make the system easier to test and better.
• Find tricky situations and problems that users might not notice easily.
• Keep track of how well you're doing and share this information with others.
• Use smart tools to help write tests faster and catch problems before they cause big issues.

Qualifications

• A college degree in computer science or a related field.
• At least 3-4 years of experience using testing tools.
• A good grasp of how to test things properly.
• Know-how with both manual and automatic testing methods.
• Experience with AI-based ways to improve testing.
• Knowledge of accessibility testing techniques.

Working Conditions

Normal office environment.
