Test Engineer

About the role

Senior Test Engineer supporting complex software systems within an Agile Scrum environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead test planning, design, execution, and documentation of functional, integration, system, regression, and end-to-end tests.
• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define acceptance criteria.
• Analyze requirements to create detailed test plans.
• Identify and track defects.
• Support Agile ceremonies.
• Validate system performance.
• Generate quality metrics.
• Mentor junior engineers.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

• US citizenship with active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
• 8+ years of software testing or quality engineering experience.
• Expertise in automated testing frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Playwright).
• API testing (Postman, REST Assured).
• CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab).
• Defect management (Jira).
• Scripting languages (JavaScript, Python).
• Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with DoD/Intelligence programs.
• Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Performance testing (JMeter).
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• DevSecOps.
• Geospatial applications.
• Relevant certifications (ISTQB, Security+).
