Test Engineer

We are a company dedicated to improving the world responsibly and safely through innovation and exploration. Our Test Engineer will be part of a team focused on safeguarding astronaut health and advancing technologies for human space exploration.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Safety records and certifications.
• Develop test strategies and plans based on project requirements and verification documents.
• Coordinate with service providers to schedule test facilities as needed.
• Collaborate with project management, customers, and other stakeholders to establish and execute test schedules.
• Conduct functional, development, certification, acceptance, and integration testing throughout the project lifecycle.
• Correlate test results and prepare detailed test reports.
• Provide technical support and knowledge during integrated hardware/software testing.
• Process hardware at designated laboratories and Johnson Space Center Test Facilities.
• Read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings.
• Work closely with customers and project team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science from an accredited college or university.
• At least 5 years of related experience in product testing for flight hardware development.
• Experience with JSC projects and test facilities.
• Experience with testing in a laboratory setting.
• Experience with pressure systems.
• At least 2 years of experience in flight hardware development.

• Microsoft Office products.
