Test Engineer

About the role

A test engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and executing tests to ensure software quality. This includes creating test plans, writing test cases, and analyzing results.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test plans and test cases
• Identify and report bugs and issues
• Work closely with development teams to resolve bugs and improve product quality
• Document test results and provide feedback to stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in software testing
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools
• Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, etc.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Qualifications

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, etc.
• Experience with version control systems like Git
• Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay

Salary range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
