Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Work with engineers to evaluate software developed for our nation’s defense.
• Create a test plan with test cases based on user stories.
• Generate data and implement the test cases to observe how the software performs.
• Document the results and communicate defects to the development team.
• Automate continuous security and performance testing.
• Maintain the health of large data systems.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a test engineer developing and executing test scripts and analyzing results while performing system testing of complex systems.
• Experience with Python.
• Experience with using and developing scripts in Python and creating regular expressions for searching data sets.
• Experience with integrating new and old technologies into existing network configurations and test beds.
• Ability to develop, build, and test multiple lab environments using various telephony and networking hardware following formal testing methods.
• Ability to set priorities and rearrange schedules to address unexpected issues; and perform baseline, unit/integration, component, and regression level testing in support of research and development efforts.
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.

Pay

The projected compensation range for this position is $57.69 to $67.30 per hour.
