Responsibilities

• Performs client and enterprise system build-outs at scale, identifying opportunities for efficiency gain and/or process improvement, while documenting completed work with detailed performance logs and build procedures.
• Manages inventory at scale of components that contribute to lab systems.
• Assesses the health of equipment being built and test runs being executed, proactively calling out any perceived issues while offering creative solutions to solve the team's biggest problems.
• Executes daily/weekly test cases using internal automation or vendor software.
• Performs first-level triage of test failures, requiring knowledge of test infrastructure, NVMe and other industry specifications, and client internal device specifications.
• Applies strong problem-solving and experimental design skills to drive success.

Qualifications

• Experience and passion for client or enterprise PC components and systems, experimental design and test process, and minimizing variables in retest to isolate specific failure modes.
• Prior storage experience is preferred; candidates will be assessed on overall aptitude.
