Test Debug and RCA Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Execute functional, stress, thermal, burn-in, and reliability tests on server and rack platforms.
• Validate CPU, memory, storage, networking, and GPU subsystems.
• Verify BIOS, BMC, and firmware functionality.
• Perform server bring-up and manufacturing qualification testing.
• Generate test process instructions (TPI) and produce operator trainings.
• Debug and troubleshoot hardware failures and test station issues.
• Collect BIOS logs, BMC logs, SEL logs, and Linux diagnostic information.
• Analyze system boot failures and hardware detection issues.
• Assist in reproducing customer and manufacturing failures.
• Support root cause analysis by gathering failure evidence and diagnostic data.
• Document findings and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain failure tracking records.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• 0–3 years of experience in hardware testing, validation, or manufacturing support.
• Technical skills including basic server architecture knowledge, Linux commands (dmesg, journalctl, lspci, dmidecode), BIOS configuration and firmware flashing, BMC/IPMI fundamentals, basic networking concepts, Python scripting fundamentals, and basic SQL/MySQL queries.
