Description Duties
- Understanding and complying with all examination guidelines, policies, and procedures
- R arranging facility use and planning rooms according to candidate count
- Providing assistance to test site staff and candidates
- A ssisting candidates with logging into and completing the submission of their computer-based exams, if necessary
- Utilizing software to virtually proctor candidates in a remote setting, if necessary
- A ssisting in training monitoring staff in the use of remote proctoring software
- Utilizing software to proctor in our new Computer Based Testing Centers
- M aintaining contact with Civil Service Test Administration staff before and after the administration of examinations on a given test date
- R eceiving, distributing, and returning test material in a secure manner
Qualifications
- P ossession of a High School Diploma or GED
- A bility to operate a personal computer and perform basic computer functions
- A bility to read, communicate effectively with others, and be able to speak confidently in front of large groups of people
- A bility to work with a diverse population in a calm and courteous manner under stressful conditions
