Test Automation Engineer

100% on-site in Cedar Rapids, IA Designs, develops, and maintain software applications for controlling electromechanical automated testers and systems The Work Includes Conducting requirements gathering and analysis to understand the domain of the software problem and/or functionality, the interfaces between hardware and software, and the overall software characteristicsUsing programming, scripting, and/or database languages to write the software codeSupporting software testing, deployment, maintenance, and evolution activities by correcting programming errors, responding to scope changes, and coding software enhancementsApplying knowledge of software development best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations Requirements Bachelor of Science in Engineering/ STEM 2+ years’ experience within test automation Proficient programming in LabView, C & PythonPlus if experience with MATLAB/ Simulink or Java
