3021513 Locations & Work Style: Blue Bell, PA or Boca Raton, FL: This role is primarily remote. Candidates should reside within commuting distance of their assigned office and be available to work onsite as needed. Employees are welcome to work onsite more frequently if desired. Please note that this role may transition to a hybrid work model in the future. Irving, TX: Hybrid schedule - onsite a minimum of four days per week, with one remote day. Five days onsite may be required based on business needs. What You'll Do: This is an entry-level engineering role focused on developing and maintaining automated tests as production-quality code. You'll work alongside experienced Quality Engineers and Software Engineers, gaining hands-on experience with modern automation frameworks, CI/CD practices, and AI-assisted development tools. Test Automation Development Write and maintain automated tests for APIs, services, and user workflows under guidance from senior engineersContribute code to existing Automated Test Frameworks (ATF)Help build and execute smoke and regression test suites as part of CI/CDDebug test failures and identify whether issues stem from test code, product defects, or environment instabilityManage system hardware and ensure it remains in a testable state AI‑Assisted Testing Use AI coding tools (e.g., Cursor) to:Generate test plansAssist with writing assertions and test flowsHelp repair broken testsReview and refine AI‑generated code with guidance to ensure quality and correctnessImprove processes where possible through AI integration Quality Engineering & Collaboration Partner with developers to understand features and expected behaviorParticipate in code reviews for test automationLearn how to think about testability, coverage, and quality riskDevelop tools as needed to support manual and automated testing effortsProgress from guided contributor to independent ownership of automation areas or test suites What You'll Need: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience0-2 years of relevant software development or test automation experience, gained through internships, co-ops, academic projects, or professional rolesBasic proficiency in Java or PythonFamiliarity with:Writing and reading codeVersion control systems (e.g. Git)Automated testing conceptsWillingness and ability to learn debugging, CI pipelines, and test frameworks Preferred Qualifications: Exposure to automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, REST, Push API testing)Internship or academic experience writing automated testsFamiliarity with CI/CD conceptsExperience with Ruby programming languageInterest in AI‑assisted development and automationCuriosity about how large systems are built, tested, and deployed Compensation & Benefits: The salary range for Engineer I is $64,000.00 - $96,000.00 based on experience and qualifications. Certain roles are eligible for annual bonus and may include equity. These awards are allocated based on company and individual performance. Employees accrue up to 120 hours in their first year. Your accrual rate increases after your first year. We also offer 6 paid holidays. In the event a position is commission-based, compensation is solely based on the individual’s sales volume. This applies only to commission roles.
