Test and Tools Engineer

Responsibilities

• Execute automated and manual tests for GNSS receivers and modules
• Perform basic analysis of test results and report findings
• Configure and maintain test systems and laboratory setups
• Develop and maintain scripts and tools used in test automation
• Support debugging of test infrastructure and software components
• Affiliate with system configuration tasks such as Linux installation or environment setup

Requirements

• Attention to detail and commitment to thorough, methodical test execution
• Experience working in a Linux environment
• Basic scripting or programming skills (Python or Bash)
• Hands-on problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with engineers

Qualifications

• Solid Python skills
• Strong grasp of software fundamentals
• GNSS or RF knowledge is a bonus

Benefits

• Regular on-site presence in the Tampere office is required for the majority of the work, typically within the 09:00–15:00 window.
• Some tasks allow for remote work and more flexible hours.
• Occasional evening meetings are part of the role. Typically around 1 hour per week, though this varies depending on project needs.
