About the role
We are seeking an experienced Test and Evaluation (T&E) Engineer/Analyst to support the Short and Intermediate Effectors for Layered Defense (SHIELD) Project Office development of Indirect Fires Protection Capability (IFPC) Second Interceptor. In this role, you will work directly with the SHIELD T&E Director and Product Managers to ensure test, evaluation, and engineering processes contribute to overall product success. You will support system-level test planning, execution, and reporting for IFPC Increment 2 and Second Interceptor efforts, ensuring all objectives meet established test plans and directives.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with multiple offices to schedule required systems and resources.
- Attend data reviews and scheduling/resourcing meetings.
- Support multidisciplinary Integrated Product Teams and collaborate across CPE Defensive Fires product offices.
- Organize, plan, and oversee complex developmental, operational, and test activities for assigned projects.
Requirements
- BS or BA degree.
- 10 years of related experience.
- Minimum of 7 years of engineering experience with Air and Missile Defense (AMD) systems such as PATRIOT, IBCS, LTAMDS, M-SHORAD, and/or IFPC Inc 2.
- Experience supporting or leading missile flight test missions.
- Working knowledge of DoD, Army Acquisition processes, and Test & Evaluation procedures.
- Some travel required.
- Must have in-scope Secret security clearance.
