Test Analysis Branch Manager

About the role

At Boeing Intelligence and Analytics, you will manage the Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Test Analysis and Technical Integration Teams using engineering methodologies in an Agile, Digital Engineering environment. You will be responsible for planning, managing, and executing system-level analyses of the GMD Weapon System utilizing High Fidelity Simulations with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) and live test vehicles in Ground Test, Flight Test, Cyber Test, and Developmental Test Venues in support of the development and integration of system enhancements into the GMD Weapon System. You will also be responsible for managing the technical integration of components into the GMD Weapon System in order to incrementally drive down system-level risk in support of future GMD system upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Manage the technical integration of components into the GMD Weapon System
• Execute system-level analyses of the GMD Weapon System utilizing High Fidelity Simulations with HWIL and live test vehicles
• Plan, manage, and execute analyses of models and simulations of complex systems in support of performance characterization and/or requirement verification
• Lead systems engineering or software engineering teams
• Present to program leaders and customers
• Coordinate with customers on complex systems

Qualifications

• Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (including manufacturing engineering technology), computer science, engineering data science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically nine (9) or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications
• Active Secret Security Clearance with the ability to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance
• Experience planning, managing, and executing analyses of models and simulations of complex systems in support of performance characterization and/or requirement verification
• Experience planning, managing, and executing software/tool development in support of analysis of complex systems utilizing latest coding best practices and industry advancements/trends
• Experience leading systems engineering or software engineering teams
• Experience using Systems Engineering processes and tools
• Experience presenting to program leaders and customers
• Experience with customer coordination and interfacing pertaining to complex systems
• Strong verbal/written communication skills and must be able to work independently
• Strong problem-solving skills
