Territory Specialist

About the role

Ameristar Perimeter Security, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is seeking a Territory Specialist to join their team. The primary responsibility of this role is to handle all customer relations, including processing sales orders, providing timely quotations, and order follow-up which may include truckload management and extended customer service within the inside sales team.

Responsibilities

• Enter and maintain sales orders and quotes in ERP.
• Review customer purchase orders for accuracy. Communicate with customers regarding all aspects of quotes and purchase orders.
• Maintain customer shipment schedule. Use CRM software to log notes and relevant customer information regarding ongoing construction and jobsite projects.
• Be team-oriented and personally motivated for success.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or a combination of education and experience in a sales & service oriented role.
• Clear understanding of the sales processes required for success.
• Previous experience in a sales & service oriented role is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint.
• Be team-oriented and take personal and self-responsibility for development and increased competency in role.
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills needed, with the ability to build rapport quickly with customers while working comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
• Strong phone skills and bi-lingual Spanish is a plus.
• Must be able to prioritize duties and manage time effectively.
