Territory Service Merchandiser

Location: Lenoir, NC • Full-time, hourly position • 1st shift

This role is responsible for merchandising, managing, and stocking inventory (millwork and other building products such as mouldings, columns, boards/lumber, stairparts, etc.) in Lowe's retail stores. The representative maintains inventory data via iPhone or handheld device, submits orders, and ensures proper merchandising of signage and displays to enhance sales. Daily travel using a company-provided vehicle is required, and a good driving history is a must.

Responsibilities

• Remove and dispose of cull product from inventory in accordance with Company Policy.
• Order product for the replenishment of sold inventory in a group of Lowe's retail stores within a defined geographical region.
• Merchandise and stock building products in assigned territory.
• Manage inventory and ensure products are packed out within 36 hours of delivery per District Manager requirements.
• Build and maintain strong supplier-customer relationships with store personnel.
• Visit all assigned stores per the schedule determined by the District Manager.
• Repetitively lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
• Proficiently use fax machines, copiers, smartphones, and computers.
• Submit Market Shops, Price Shops, and/or Surveys as required by management.

Requirements

• Valid and appropriate driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Keen eye for merchandising and detail.
• Self-motivated and willing to work a flexible schedule.
• Ability to thrive in an environment requiring independent work.
