Territory Sales Representative
About the role
As a Territory Sales Representative at Tower Water, you'll play a crucial role in protecting and improving the water systems that keep businesses and facilities running safely and efficiently. Your days will involve responding to leads, prospecting, evaluating systems, pricing solutions, and managing new accounts.
Responsibilities
- Respond to inbound leads and referrals
- Possess direct sales experience with commercial and industrial clients
- Evaluate systems and price solutions
- Sell annual or multi-year contracts
- Ensure smooth transition to service team
- Unveil additional sales opportunities such as system cleanings or new equipment
Requirements
- Three to four years of industry experience
- Track record of closing new business
- Ability to manage schedule independently in a field-based role
- Basic math, Excel, and CRM proficiency
- Clean driver's license and willingness to obtain state pesticide license
Qualifications
- Comfortable with technical aspects of water treatment systems
- Curious about the mechanics of the systems being sold
- Motivated by taking on more responsibility and ownership
- Willingness to learn and grow in the industry
Skills
- Strong communication skills, both technical and non-technical
- Team player with a collaborative approach
- Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships

Pay
The starting salary is $140,000, transitioning to a base-plus-commission structure as your territory grows. Commission rates increase with recurring revenue growth, potentially reaching into the $200K+ range.
Schedule
This is a field-based role covering the New York metro area, including all five boroughs, and upstate New York within a 100-mile radius. You'll work from home, in the field, and occasionally from one of our offices, but most of your time will be spent visiting client sites, evaluating systems, and building relationships face-to-face.
