Responsibilities
- Possess and develop new business within your assigned territory
- Sell new and used material handling and industrial equipment solutions
- Build relationships with customers across manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, logistics, construction, and other industrial markets
- Conduct in-person customer visits, presentations, and equipment demonstrations
- Identify customer needs and recommend solutions that improve productivity and efficiency
- Develop strategic account plans to grow territory revenue and market share
- Collaborate with operations, service, and support teams to ensure an outstanding customer experience
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and consistently follow up on opportunities
- Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs
Requirements
- 3+ years of outside sales experience
- Proven ability to prospect, develop new business, and grow a territory
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated, competitive, and results-oriented mindset
- Comfortable making cold calls, conducting customer visits, and building relationships from the ground up
- Experience in material handling, industrial sales, construction equipment, capital equipment, manufacturing, logistics, building products, or other B2B sales environments is highly preferred
- Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
