Territory Sales Manager, Southern CA/San Fernando Valley

Responsibilities

  • Lead and drive all foodservice sales initiatives within the Southern California/San Fernando Valley territory.
  • Develop and maintain strong business relationships with distributors and end users.
  • Successfully sell Libbey’s marketing programs, products, and promotions at the distributor and end user level.
  • Manage and grow existing territory business with existing customers.
  • Collaborate with customers and the sales leadership team to develop business plans and targets for foodservice growth.
  • Utilize technology to manage customers and prospects and provide feedback for continuous improvements.
  • Coordinate and execute sales efforts to integrate with Libbey marketing activities.
  • Communicate customer requirements and opportunities to internal teams.
  • Partner with Libbey Customer Service to proactively resolve any issues.
  • Train customers on Libbey products and range of value-added services.
  • Submit credible, accurate forecasts of monthly sales volume.
  • Participate in customer trade shows and sales meetings, assist with payment collections, address service and shipping related concerns, etc.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred (equivalent experience to be considered).
  • 3-5 years of direct selling experience in the foodservice and/or hospitality industry, preferred.
  • Forecasting and business planning experience.
  • Strong negotiations skills and ability to persuade and influence others.
  • Ability to develop and deliver compelling business presentations.
  • Strong communication and organization skills.
  • Ability to travel 40%.
  • This requires a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Pay

The base salary range for this position, in this market, is typically $80,000-110,000. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for a 20% target sales incentive plan, car allowance, mileage reimbursement, company cell phone and laptop.
