About the role

The role of Territory Manager at Duro Dyne is within the broader context of Lennox International, a global leader in HVAC solutions. This position involves promoting Duro Dyne's HVAC products, growing existing business, and developing new accounts across a defined territory. The role is field-based, requiring significant travel and interaction with various stakeholders in the HVAC distribution channel.

Responsibilities

  • Promote Duro Dyne's full line of HVAC products through in-house meetings, job site visits, and virtual interactions.
  • Maintain and grow existing HVAC business through share-of-wallet gains, new product sales, and prospecting of new distribution and contractor accounts.
  • Sell through the distribution channel, provide full product training to selected distributors, and represent Duro Dyne at industry events.
  • Manage a territory, maintain accurate pricing, analyze competitive activity, and communicate sales volumes to clients.
  • Travel approximately 70% of the time, using a company-provided vehicle and fuel card.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a regional or territory sales manager or in a comparable field-based outside sales role.
  • Sound negotiation and consultative selling skills, with the ability to grow and defend an existing book of business.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a large, multi-state territory independently.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, with exceptional customer service.
  • Proficiency across Microsoft Office and comfort working in a CRM.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 70% and to hold a valid driver's license for a company vehicle.

Preferred

  • Mechanical aptitude is a strong asset in this role.
  • Bachelor's degree in sales, business administration, business management, marketing, or a related field.
  • Sheet metal industry knowledge.
  • HVAC duct connector knowledge.
  • Experience selling through HVAC distribution.
