About the role
As a core member of our sales team, you will be expected to Advance the presence of the Perry's Ice Cream brand in the marketplace and attain top-line sales goals designed for the assigned sales territory.
Responsibilities
- Manage small to medium regional chains
- Acquire and maintain bulk, independent, and food service customers throughout the territory
- Develop annual territory plan
- Market planning & forecasting
- Plan to achieve mutually agreed upon unit and revenue growth to include new accounts, ad features, and promotions
- Prospect, account maintenance, and customer relationship management
- Ensure placement of proper point of sale
- Perform retail audits
- Attend trade shows & sales meetings
- Support the balance of the Perry's Ice Cream Sales Team as needed to drive sales
- Support the production of safe, quality foods and team member safety
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years proven relevant sales experience
- Two-year degree preferred but not required. Four-year degree in business administration strongly preferred
- Flexibility to work a varying schedule, including overnight travel
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Valid driver’s license, personal/reliant vehicle, and ability to drive a vehicle
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proven track record of building and managing long-term profitable customer relationships
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team setting
- Strong interpersonal communications and presentation skills
- Commitment to continuous development of skills and knowledge to support further growth in the organization

Pay
Salary range $55,000-$60,000 annually with a generous mileage reimbursement program.
Schedule
Varying schedule, including overnight travel.
