About the role

As a core member of our sales team, you will be expected to Advance the presence of the Perry's Ice Cream brand in the marketplace and attain top-line sales goals designed for the assigned sales territory.

Responsibilities

  • Manage small to medium regional chains
  • Acquire and maintain bulk, independent, and food service customers throughout the territory
  • Develop annual territory plan
  • Market planning & forecasting
  • Plan to achieve mutually agreed upon unit and revenue growth to include new accounts, ad features, and promotions
  • Prospect, account maintenance, and customer relationship management
  • Ensure placement of proper point of sale
  • Perform retail audits
  • Attend trade shows & sales meetings
  • Support the balance of the Perry's Ice Cream Sales Team as needed to drive sales
  • Support the production of safe, quality foods and team member safety

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years proven relevant sales experience
  • Two-year degree preferred but not required. Four-year degree in business administration strongly preferred
  • Flexibility to work a varying schedule, including overnight travel
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Valid driver’s license, personal/reliant vehicle, and ability to drive a vehicle
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proven track record of building and managing long-term profitable customer relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team setting
  • Strong interpersonal communications and presentation skills
  • Commitment to continuous development of skills and knowledge to support further growth in the organization

Qualifications

Pay

Salary range $55,000-$60,000 annually with a generous mileage reimbursement program.

Schedule

Varying schedule, including overnight travel.
