Territory Sales Manager
About the role
Concentric is the first national industrial power services organization delivering forklift and critical power and maintenance solutions that ensure uninterrupted, sustainable facility power. The Territory Manager is a sales position responsible for growing business with new and existing accounts in a specific geographical territory, focusing on Concentric’s value center solutions. This role requires independent work, building strong customer relationships, and driving sales of equipment, service programs, repairs, and maintenance contracts.
Responsibilities
- Deliver a solution-based selling strategy.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
- Build and maintain a satisfied and profitable customer base while meeting or exceeding sales and profit goals.
- Establish, manage, and grow key customer relationships.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth.
- Create and manage quotes.
- Manage sales funnel in Concentric’s CRM (HubSpot/Salesforce).
- Provide market feedback, including competitors’ pricing, products, and programs.
- Perform site walks for industrial facilities following Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) requirements.
- Provide timely sales and expense reports.
- Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Demonstrate professionalism at all times.
- Prioritize and manage multiple accounts while staying organized and detail-oriented.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of sales experience.
- Experience with similar products and services preferred.
- Successful track record in a sales role.
- Knowledge of Salesforce or HubSpot is a plus.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision and collaboratively across diverse teams.
- Professional demeanor in customer interactions.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record for the past 3 years.
- Willingness for daily travel, with occasional overnight travel required up to 10%.
Key Performance Measurements
- Sales revenue, bookings, and gross profit generation.
- Management of expenses compared to annual gross profit generation.
- Number of new customers acquired within a specific timeframe.
- Revenue growth resulting from market development initiatives.
- Management observation of attitude, diligence, team contributions, and ability to learn new skills.
