About the role

The Territory Sales Manager – SFM plays a crucial role in driving organic growth and increasing profitability within the region. This position focuses on developing new business opportunities and enhancing relationships with existing customers, particularly those in the Stretch Films product line.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new business and increased profitability within the region by driving organic growth.
  • Execute a strategic plan to sustainably grow the business while maintaining strong connections with various Amcor divisions.
  • Represent Amcor's total offerings, products, and services in a unified manner to foster a 'One Amcor' approach.
  • Identify and implement solutions that Amcor can offer to enable broad account relationships across different functional areas of organizations.
  • Drive business on a regional/national scale as needed, including frequent travel.
  • Implement and support robust commercial processes such as Salesforce to enhance transparency and facilitate effective communication.
  • Collaborate with internal resources like Product Management and Commercialization to achieve customer growth goals.
  • Align key Amcor resource personnel with their customer counterparts to build deep customer relationships.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with 3-5 years of experience in the packaging field or a related area in distribution and manufacturing.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of progressive and successful Sales experience.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to work cross-functionally to solve business problems.
  • Self-starter with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Proficient in computer and organizational skills.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new products and technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective negotiation and business skills.
