About the role
The Territory Sales Associate manages and grows a portfolio of foodservice accounts by building strong relationships with current customers and identifying and onboarding new ones. Key duties include upselling products, providing industry insights, overseeing order fulfillment, resolving customer issues, and analyzing sales trends to enhance client satisfaction. This role also maintains a new business pipeline and collaborates with internal teams such as warehouse, logistics, procurement, and customer service to ensure smooth operations. The associate tracks performance metrics, reports sales forecasts, and ensures compliance with industry regulations while delivering exceptional customer service and fostering long-term partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through in-person and electronic communication
- Address and resolve customer inquiries, concerns, and product-related issues
- Collaborate with internal teams, including warehouse, logistics, and customer service, to ensure smooth operations
- Manage and grow a portfolio of foodservice accounts—both existing and new business through cold calling
- Identify sales opportunities and develop strategies to increase revenue
- Upsell new products and services to existing accounts
- Track performance metrics and report sales forecasts
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations
Requirements
- Reliable transportation and ability to pass a motor vehicle check and background check
- Previous experience in account management, sales, business development, food service, or restaurant industry is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to develop and maintain strong customer relationships
- Passion for delivering excellent service and creating value for clients

Pay
Base salary + commission + car reimbursement
