Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed sales objectives for Surgical Pain products, including On-Q and Ambit Pump Pumps.
- Work with surgeons, physicians, therapists, nurses, clinicians, department decision makers, and administrators in assigned accounts or markets.
- Communicate with current and potential customers during surgical procedures and actively protect existing market share.
- Develop and execute strategies to achieve business objectives, including contract management and local price negotiations.
- Lead in the face of ambiguity, persistently achieving long-term objectives despite obstacles.
- Utilize CRM tools and reporting data to grow the territory and deliver value to customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- At least four years of demonstrated success in sales, with at least two years in medical sales, specifically targeting surgeons, hospitals, and ambulatory surgery centers.
- At least one year of experience in an operating room setting.
- Understanding of the hospital/ASC buying process, including the role of GPOs, IDNs, and distributors.
- Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement methodologies, including fee-for-service, value-based care, and alternative payment methods.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Effective time management and prioritization skills.
- Ability to travel up to 50%, including overnights.
- Experience working with PC-based applications (Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Deep understanding of medical terminology and clinical practices.
- Ability to lead in the face of ambiguity and persistence to achieve long-term objectives in the face of obstacles.
- Must be able to lift 35 pounds.
Qualifications
- Preferred B2B selling experience, surgical case experience, and experience with musculoskeletal products (Ortho, Spine, Trauma, Sports Medicine).
- Track record of success covering large territories and owning sales goals as an individual.

Pay
The anticipated average base pay range for this position is $70,000.00 - $130,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the base posted.
Schedule
This position requires up to 50% travel, including overnights.
