Territory Manager - Southwest
About the role
Brady Corporation is seeking a dynamic Territory Manager to join our Engraving Solutions business, which sells through our Brady and Gravotech brands. This is a high impact position requiring a proven track record in capital equipment sales and a passion for technical solutions to cultivate and grow long term relationships with industrial manufacturing customers and channel partners within the Southwest region. We are looking for a strategic sales professional to represent our brand who thrives on independence and is energized by face-to-face customer engagement. As the primary driving force behind our Southwest growth, this role will strategically engage with key decision-makers to capture market share and foster long-term loyalty.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute an annual sales plan targeting both existing accounts and high-potential new business to maximize regional volume.
- Perform high-impact product demonstrations and face-to-face consultations to solve customer needs.
- Continuously prospect for new opportunities within the industrial manufacturing market, focusing on traceability in manufacturing.
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders and vendor partners.
- Represent the brand at virtual and in-person conferences, national sales meetings and tradeshows.
- Regularly visit customer facilities to interact directly to maintain relationships and brand presence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Sciences, or related field.
- Minimum five years’ experience selling capital equipment; experience in industrial sales is highly preferred.
- Thorough understanding of the manufacturing industry.
- Exceptional communication and relationship building abilities are essential.
- Ability to effectively allocate time and resources while working remotely.
- This role requires extensive travel, estimated at 75%, including frequent overnight stays.
- Valid drivers license required.
