Territory Manager-Remote
About the Role
Priority1, Inc. is seeking transportation professionals for business-to-business product/service sales in San Diego. This outside sales position focuses on new business acquisition within the freight shipping industry, which has an unlimited prospect base. The Territory Manager role offers the opportunity to develop superior selling skills, provide large business solutions in a small-to-mid size business environment, and grow into a Senior Territory Manager or Regional Sales Manager position.
The role involves selling to executive-level decision makers such as Owners, CEOs, CFOs, Presidents, and Vice Presidents. Responsibilities
- Prospecting for new business (including B2B door-to-door cold calling)
- Developing lead generation strategies
- Utilizing CRM to track activity
- Selling and setting up new accounts
- Managing accounts you sell
Training and Development
Priority1 supports Territory Managers with best-in-class training and development. New hires receive three weeks of corporate training within their first 24 months, with potential for additional senior and management trainings. All trainings are held in Little Rock, AR, and led by the Executive Development Team, who started in sales.
New Territory Managers also participate in the "Fast Start Program," which includes three months of in-the-field training with upper management immediately after Basic Sales Training.

Requirements
- 2 years of freight sales experience preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred (coursework in business, marketing, and/or communication is a plus, but any major is acceptable with a passion for sales)
- Involvement in campus activities (athletic backgrounds highly recommended)
- Naturally enthusiastic and energetic
