Territory Manager Commercial Vehicle Group
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Equipment Finance Sales Specialist to join our Commercial Vehicle Group, focused on developing and managing both new and existing customer and vendor relationships within the School and Shuttle Bus market. This role drives business development and portfolio growth throughout the eastern half of the United States, partnering with manufacturers, dealers, and end-user customers to deliver equipment finance solutions and expand market presence.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver financial solutions to prospective and existing customer and vendor relationships within the School and Shuttle Bus market.
- Drive business development and portfolio growth by assembling and leading execution teams; provide guidance and oversight to pitch, structure, negotiate, and execute highly customized transactions.
- Develop or influence objectives, strategy, resources, and long-term goals for a portfolio of clients that utilize specialty products and services.
- Lead aspects of client interaction; maintain visibility on clients' objectives and business pipeline to identify opportunities early, provide advice and ideas, and recommend tailored financing solutions.
- Proactively identify ancillary solutions that meet the client's needs and coordinate interaction with other product partners within the bank (Investment Banking, Wealth Investment Management, Treasury Management, etc.).
- Lead the execution of deals by assigning responsibilities, setting deadlines and objectives, and providing guidance; retain oversight of complex aspects such as diligence or documentation, and provide expertise and training to more junior team members.
- Understand clients' businesses, strategic objectives, operational priorities, and financial positions within the context of individual deals and client relationships.
- Act as an advisor to senior leadership to develop or influence planning for highly complex business needs related to a given product or specialty's business objectives.
- Represent the bank and grow the franchise by participating in industry conferences and meetings.
- Serve as a mentor for less experienced individuals.
Requirements
- 7+ years of secured or specialized lending sales experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
Qualifications
- Commercial Vehicle experience.
- Understanding of Credit and Financial Statements.
- 7+ years of Equipment Finance experience.
- Basic knowledge of lending products.
- Basic knowledge and understanding of tax, accounting, and legal issues associated with purchase money financings and credit issues, including program master loan documentation, customer loan and lease agreements, and inventory credit facilities.
- Strong collaboration skills with other lines of business.
- Ability to qualify, structure, price, negotiate, and close credit transactions.
- High degree of structuring experience with financial products including loans, FMV leases, and inventory lines.
- Demonstrated history of meeting and exceeding business goals and objectives.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Schedule
- Hybrid work schedule: 1 day remote and 4 days in-office, 8 hours a day.
- Ability to travel 20% or more.
- Willingness to work on-site at stated location on the job opening.

Pay range reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
