As a Territory Coverage Associate, you convert staffing gaps into reliable, high-quality execution by supporting Merchandisers and Order Writers, maintaining operational consistency, upholding brand and execution standards, and ensuring stores align with company expectations. Responsibilities

  • Represent Mondelēz in stores with professionalism, reliability, and a commitment to execution excellence while supporting Merchandisers and Order Writers across the territory.
  • Serve as a trusted field partner, delivering strong customer service to store teams while reinforcing Mondelēz’s standards and expectations.
  • Execute daily coverage by completing store visits using Merchandising Excellence standards and Order Writing Excellence, including capturing display photos and documenting execution through DMI & Salesforce.
  • Implement promotional displays, ensuring compliance with RTM-negotiated plans and maintaining strong visibility of our brands.
  • Follow assigned schedules and execute daily priorities set by your District Manager (DM) or RTM to ensure efficient and effective territory coverage.
  • Assist with seasonal transitions, supporting new product launches, seasonal merchandising, and high-visibility promotional events.
  • Build and maintain relationships with store personnel—including receivers, department managers, and store leadership—to support smooth execution and collaboration.
  • Support capability building by reinforcing foundational skills and assisting with the onboarding of new Merchandisers and Order Writers to strengthen field capability.
  • Develop operational, communication, and problem-solving skills to prepare for future advancement into management roles.
  • Embrace the physical nature of the role—including lifting, bending, and moving product—while following all safety protocols, operational guidelines, and company vehicle policies to ensure safe and responsible driving across the territory.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license issued by the state in which you reside.
  • High School Diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in retail or consumer goods preferred.
  • Live inside the geographical boundaries of the team.
  • Flexible schedule availability, including weekends.
  • Ability to travel across assigned markets.
  • Ability to perform physical activities (frequent lifting, bending, and carrying up to 25 lbs., occasionally over 50 lbs., pushing, pulling, etc.).

  • Coverage and Execution Excellence: Skilled in stepping into Merchandiser and Order Writer roles to maintain consistent shelf standards, product rotation, and display execution across the territory.

  • Time and Task Management: Organized and efficient in completing store visits, managing coverage assignments, and maintaining consistent execution across multiple locations.
  • Physical Readiness: Energetic and capable of lifting, bending, and moving product throughout the day with pride and purpose.
  • Capability Support: Confident reinforcing foundational skills and supporting the onboarding of new Merchandisers and Order Writers to strengthen field capability.

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $40,600 to $55,825, depending on factors such as experience, skills, education, and location. This position is also eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.

Schedule

  • Flexible schedule availability required, including weekends.
  • Company vehicle provided, including a gas card and vehicle maintenance program.
