Terrain Park Attendant

The Terrain Attendant helps with the design, construction, and maintenance of the Terrain Parks/Bike Park as well as the grounds‑keeping duties surrounding the Mountain Sports area. The role requires courteous, professional guest relations, a strong emphasis on safety, good customer service, and intermediate‑to‑expert snowboarding, skiing, or biking skills. Applicants must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Open and close terrain parks/bike park, maintain, inspect, and repair features.
• Notify and assist patrol with guest injuries or feature closures.
• Communicate effectively with resort guests, staff, and management.
• Maintain park features throughout the day.
• Assist with installation, removal, or relocation of features.
• Maintain a clean, trash‑free area.
• Set a positive example and educate guests on park etiquette and the Responsibility Code.
• Monitor changing weather conditions; ensure all features are appropriately marked and tested.
• Grounds‑keeping of Mountain Sports and surrounding area.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to spend long hours outdoors maintaining attractions.
• Basic knowledge of Snow/Bike Sports division policies and procedures.
• Basic knowledge of leaf blower, weed eater, and mower usage.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in terrain park construction and maintenance.
• Experience with hiking/biking trail construction.
• Experience with light construction or landscaping.
• Valid driver’s license and approved driving record.
• Experience operating heavy machinery such as mini‑excavators, skid steers, etc.

Schedule

• Seasonal and part‑time positions.
• Days vary from week to week, including weekends and holidays.
• Hours vary, including evening shifts during the winter season.
• 20–30 hours per week (seasonal opportunity).
• 30–40 hours per week (part‑time opportunity).

Pay

$15.00 per hour.
