Terraform Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

Our client, a leading Fortune 500 Oil & Gas company, is seeking a Terraform Infrastructure Engineer to join their team. This position is W-2 only. We do not work with third-party firms or C2C arrangements for this role. Contract Details: Duration: 12-month contract with potential for extension. Location: Spring, TX. Work Model: 100% onsite.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance enterprise Terraform codebases supporting cloud infrastructure
• Develop reusable Terraform modules and improve Infrastructure as Code (IaC) standards
• Manage Terraform state, deployment workflows, and automated provisioning processes
• Administer Azure infrastructure including networking, compute, storage, load balancing, and identity services
• Support CI/CD integrations for infrastructure deployment and automation initiatives
• Implement and maintain security controls, RBAC policies, and disaster recovery solutions
• Troubleshoot platform availability, performance issues, and infrastructure-related incidents

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Terra
