Termite Technician

About the role

Terminix Service, Inc. of Seneca SC is looking to hire a full-time, entry-level Termite Technician to help our new and returning customers protect their homes from termites and other pests. This entry-level pest control position offers unlimited commission-based earning potential.

Responsibilities

• Do detective work to find where the termite problem is coming from
• Stop the pests in their tracks and help make changes to prevent future infestations
• Become an expert at identifying termite infestations and spotting potential issues
• Deliver comprehensive pest control treatments and clearly communicate each step of the process with the homeowner
• Reassure customers and offer exceptional customer service throughout interactions
• Check bait stations and refill them as needed
• Clean out crawlspaces and set them up with appropriate moisture protection
• Install liners and set up plumbing for dehumidifiers and sump pumps
• Install new insulation and foundation vents as preventative maintenance

Qualifications

• Willingness to comply with company policy regarding background checks and drug screening
• Good driving record and valid driver's license
• Must be able to wear a tight fitting respirator as required by safety protocols
• Ability to crawl and work in small confined spaces such as attics and crawl spaces
• Ability to work on your feet for an extended period of time
• Ability and willingness to work in all types of weather
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Salesmanship and strong customer service skills
• No experience necessary — we provide paid training
• Experience with construction or entry-level carpentry skills is a plus

Pay

As a Termite Technician, you can expect to make between $45,000 to $70,000 a year in commissions, incentives, and bonuses.

Schedule

This entry-level pest control job works a flexible schedule, Monday to Friday with weekends and evenings off.
