Responsibilities
- Complete Orkin’s award-winning, company-paid training to learn the skills required for daily pest control service route operations.
- Prioritize safety in all tasks and responsibilities.
- Drive a company vehicle and follow a route schedule within an assigned territory, ensuring timely and safe arrival at each customer location.
- Maintain professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers.
- Serve as a problem solver for customers with empathy, listening to their needs and recommending efficient, innovative solutions.
- Prepare and install services such as attic remediations, crawlspace encapsulations, gutter protection, and radiant heat barriers for energy efficiency.
- Interact with customers in their homes or businesses, setting expectations and ensuring satisfaction through clear communication.
- Complete all required service-related documentation using a provided hand-held device for speed and accuracy.

Requirements
- No experience required—training provided.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company paid).
- Ability to work independently in the field, manage route-based assignments, and interact with customers in their homes or businesses.
Work environment
- Must meet physical job requirements and safely perform duties with or without accommodations, including:
- Safely using a ladder within the manufacturer’s weight capacity.
- Occasionally lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
- Accessing crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, and other areas requiring climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
- Wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), including an OSHA-compliant respirator when required.
- Working in various weather conditions.
Pay
$22 to $25 per hour.
