About the role
Termite Technicians use their expertise to play a role in protecting customers’ properties from wood destroying organisms. As a Termite Technician you are the first line of defense in preserving and safeguarding customers' properties. The inspections, prevention, and treatment services that you provide will create peace of mind and comfort for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Identify customer’s termite problems and have knowledge of termite behaviors and habits to determine remedial steps
- Perform termite treatment services safely and according to company guidelines and standard practices
- Applying anti-termite treatments to structures according to schedule, safety procedures and label instructions
- Communicate to the customer critical conditions that are conducive to termite activity, discuss procedures and structural modifications, which may be supplemental to treatment process
- Verifying that job specifications are appropriate for each work order
- Operating and maintaining service vehicles and equipment
- Completing production forms documenting services provided
- Interacting with customers and explaining services provided
Requirements
- Tolerate a variety of environmental conditions, including seasonal weather, damp and/or dusty locations
- Prepare the job site for treatment
- Enter and exit structures and crawl spaces; climb over and on top of structures; ascend and descend stairs and ladders
- You need to be comfortable working 20 feet up on a ladder along with working in small confined spaces
- General laborer, carpentry, cement, roofing, gutter and attic experience is plus
Qualifications
- Clean shaven face- for safety reasons (rebreathers have to be able to seal your face)
- High school diploma or GED
- Must possess a valid driver's license from state of residence (Company vehicle and gas card provided)
- At least 1 years of customer service, experience in termite control is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Be flexible with working hours, Monday-Friday and Saturdays as needed
- Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and/or local regulations (covered by us)
- Basic math skills — add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

Pay
Hourly: $18.00 - $20.00
Schedule
Full-time, Monday-Friday and Saturdays as needed
