Responsibilities
- Complete Orkin’s award-winning, company-paid training to learn the skills required for daily pest control service route operations.
- Prioritize safety in all responsibilities and drive a company vehicle following a route schedule within an assigned territory.
- Maintain professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers while serving as a problem solver with empathy.
- Prepare and install services such as attic remediations, crawlspace encapsulations, gutter protection, and radiant heat barriers for energy efficiency.
- Set project expectations with customers and walk them through the process to ensure satisfaction.
- Complete all required service-related documentation using a provided hand-held device for speed and accuracy.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company paid).
- Ability to work in the field independently, manage route-based assignments, and interact with customers in their homes or businesses.
Work Environment
Candidates must meet physical job requirements and safely perform duties with or without accommodations:
- Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity.
- Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc., including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), which may include an OSHA-compliant respirator.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
