Termite Technician

Arrow Exterminators is looking to hire a full-time Pest Control Technician - Termite to provide uncompromised service to our residential or commercial pest control customers utilizing an Integrated Pest Management approach (IPM). This position is paid at an hourly rate.

A Day in the Life as a Pest Control Technician

As a Pest Control Technician, you start your route each day ready to be recognized as a hero to our customers by saving them from pesky intruders and creating lifelong client relationships. Your responsibilities include:

• Determining prescribed treatment as marked on inspection graph and specification sheet
• Preparing site areas for treatment by removing and hauling off debris as prescribed
• Applying wood destroying organism treatments and techniques to customers' buildings and structures, such as:
  • Termite bait station (Sentricon) installation with auger and digging tools
  • Trenching and applying liquid treatment to exterior or crawl space perimeters of structures
  • Drilling and applying liquid treatment to void spaces or blocks in crawl spaces and structures
  • Spray application of product to affected areas
• Using a calm, helpful demeanor to put customers at ease while devising and describing personalized solutions
• Collecting service payments from customers and answering their questions patiently
• Maintaining your equipment and vehicle in proper operating condition

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Possess a valid Driver's License
• Ability to pass and maintain any state regulatory agency required licensing/certification exams
• Ability to work at least 40 hours per week
• No experience necessary; we will train the right person
