About the role

Buckeye Partners is seeking a Terminal Operator C with relevant experience in terminal, pipeline, or marine operations. The role involves overseeing terminal operations, product control, regulatory compliance, customer service, and emergency response.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair terminal loading rack and equipment
• Execute receipt, delivery, storage, and distribution of petroleum products
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety directives
• Respond to customer inquiries and manage customer relationships
• Participate in emergency response drills and investigations
• Manage computer inventory control systems

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years related experience in terminal, pipeline, or marine operations
• Certificates and licenses may be required based on location, including TWIC for some positions

Position Requirements

• General knowledge of equipment and maintenance of pumps, meters, truck loading racks, and dock facilities
• Knowledge of the petroleum industry helpful
• Inventory control and/or accounting background a plus
• Familiarity with computerized inventory control systems and truck rack automation systems desirable
• Strong mechanical aptitude and analytical skills
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and handle sensitive information professionally

Physical & Safety Requirements

• Must meet OSHA medical criteria for emergency response
• Exposure to adverse weather conditions, hazardous environments, and long hours in the field
• May require wearing a respirator
