What You Will Do
- Perform all functions of Terminal Operations as directed by work orders and/or supervision consistent with standard operating procedures, state and local regulations in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner.
- Perform work associated with liquid product handling of a variety of chemicals and petrochemicals, by way of pipeline, barges, tank-to-tank transfers, tank car, and tank truck, boiler operations and/or other work required within the terminal.
- Conduct spill clean-up operations as required.
- Conduct housekeeping chores on operation activities, grounds and buildings.
- Assist in both environmental services and maintenance as required.
- Participate in company training programs and related testing.
What You Need
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- Trade school, formal training/significant work experience, or Associate's degree is highly desirable.
- Experience/familiarity with pipe wrenches, box wrenches and other similar tools.
- Excellent mathematical skills (Addition, Subtraction, Fractions, Multiplication, and Percentages).
- Flexible schedule to work in a 24 hour per day operation and/or weekend/holiday work.
- The ability to work from written and verbal instructions.
- Must be able to work with a team, take direction from supervisor(s), adhere to required work schedules, focus attention on details, and follow work rules, as well as, take on additional job responsibilities as needed.
- Superior work ethic and dependability.
- Must be able to withstand extreme weather conditions as outside work is mandatory.
- Physical requirements include, but may not be limited to, walking up and down stairs/ladders including heights over 40 feet, negotiating uneven surfaces, and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to wear standard PPE (Hard Hat, Goggles, Rain Gear, Steel Toe Boots), and qualify to wear a Full Face Respirator.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and a driving record satisfactory to the Company and its insurers.
- Successful completion of a background check, physical and drug screen upon offer.
- Complete other related duties as assigned.
Pay
Pay Range: USD $37.82 - USD $40.68 /Hr.
