Your Role, Your Impact
- Facilitate the safe movement, receipt, and shipment of product between pipelines, rail cars, tanker trucks, marine and storage tanks by strictly following policies and procedures and ensuring proper system lineup
- Ensure that product transactions are properly measured, accurately documented, and conducted in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Proper tank gauging by physically climbing the tanks and reading a gauge tape
- Use basic analytical test equipment and follow procedures for performing and documenting product quality assurance testing
- Assist in the maintenance and repair of metering devices, pumps, valves, and related equipment, and perform meter calibration
- Perform and document transport truck and routine terminal inspections
- Stock balancing and reporting
- Interact with government agencies
- Manage drivers for safe loading and unloading in facility
- Maintain minor Terminal hardware & maintenance purchasing in accordance with company procedures
- Perform terminal housekeeping and light labor duties including litter clearing including terminal inspections
- Ensure safe handling of fuels while receiving product via pipeline
- Promote and enforce health, safety, security, and environmental activities – intervene when necessary
- Measurement assurance
- Proper tank gauging
- Marine PIC
- Daily environmental inspections (LDAR)
- Identify, investigate, & escalate issues with close attention to detail
- Analyze and comprehend reports
- Interact with government agencies
- Perform calibrations on various equipment
- Vapor systems investigation, repair and routine maintenance
- Loading rack fire system inspection and maintenance
- Read and understand piping and instrumentation diagrams P & IDs
- Participate in security protocols at the facility as required and report incidents to appropriate parties
- Investigation of facility malfunctions observed or reported including lighting and fencing
- Controlling traffic and entrance gates
- Inspecting visitor’s vehicles and badges
- Other tasks identified and needed for safe, environmentally sound, and reliable operations
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have a minimum of a high school diploma
- Must possess a current, valid driver's license
- Operate a forklift
- Must currently hold or be able to qualify to receive a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card. Note, information regarding TWIC standards may be found at https://www.tsa.gov/forindustry/twic.
- Willing to work outside in inclement weather with or without accommodation
- Willing to work in compact and confined spaces with or without accommodation
- Willing to climb ladders, walk up and down steps, and work at heights with or without accommodation
- To attend to emergencies, successful candidates must reside within 60 minutes of the site, or be willing to relocate to within 60 minutes of the site without relocation assistance
- Willing to work a rotating shift work schedule
- Willing to work overtime, holidays, nights, and weekends
- Willing to be on call and meet callout standards to respond to site responsibilities and emergencies
