Teradata ETL Developer

About the Role

We are seeking experienced Teradata Developers with a strong background in ETL and expertise in writing Advanced SQL and UNIX.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading from heterogeneous data sources.
• Write and optimize Advanced SQL queries, focusing on performance tuning techniques.
• Develop and maintain Teradata Stored Procedures, BTEQ scripts, and utilities (e.g., FastExport, MultiLoad).
• Utilize Python and UNIX Shell scripting for ETL activities.
• Write SQL queries for unit testing and integration testing.
• Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure with flexibility.
• Apply analytical skills to solve complex data-related problems.

Requirements

• Strong experience in ETL development and integration.
• Expertise in Teradata Stored Procedures, BTEQ, and utilities (e.g., FastExport, MultiLoad).
• Proficiency in query optimization and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of Python and UNIX Shell scripting.
• Good understanding of UNIX programming.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
