About the Role

The Department of Physiology at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) invites applications for a tenure-track position. We welcome outstanding candidates whose research employs modern techniques and approaches to address fundamental questions in integrative physiology, including cell, tissue, and organ function.

Our department is home to world-renowned laboratories for pioneering research in membrane physiology, cell biology, neuroscience, and metabolism. The UCSF Mission Bay campus offers a vibrant atmosphere for collaboration among basic science and clinical departments, as well as state-of-the-art research facilities.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Ph.D. or MD/Ph.D. degree at the time of application.

Pay

The minimum base salary range for this position is $126,800–$197,200, determined by rank and step at appointment. The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay.
