The department of Political Science and International Relations at Creighton University invites applications for a full-time, tenure track Assistant Professor specializing in American Politics. We seek individuals committed to being outstanding teacher-scholars within a primarily undergraduate-serving college.

Responsibilities

• Teach a 3-3 course load that includes 1st year core courses in American government and politics.
• Teach upper division elective courses in the candidate's area of expertise, including American institutions, behavior and research methods, depending on departmental needs.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Political Science (or a closely related field) required to be in hand by the beginning of the contract (August 1, 2027).
