Tennis Instructor

Overview

We are currently seeking Tennis Instructors to teach at an upscale university's fitness center located in Boston, MA. Conduct private and semi-private tennis lessons for members of all skill levels.

Responsibilities

• Develop lesson plans tailored to each participant's goals and ability level.
• Teach proper tennis techniques, footwork, strategy, and court etiquette.
• Foster a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment.
• Arrive prepared and on time for all scheduled lessons.
• Communicate professionally with members and Shad Hall staff regarding scheduling and participant needs.
• Maintain tennis equipment and report any facility or equipment concerns.
• Promote member engagement and encourage continued participation in tennis programming.
• Represent Shad Hall Fitness Center in a professional manner at all times.

Requirements

• Previous experience teaching tennis lessons.
• Current nationally recognized tennis certification and current CPR/AED certification.
• Strong knowledge of tennis fundamentals and instructional techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage scheduled lessons.

Pay

The hourly rate for this position ranges from $30 to $45. Pay is based on several factors including, but not limited to, local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, geographic differentials, and other business and organizational needs.
