Temporary Veterinary Research Associate

Responsibilities

• Collecting and interpreting data from medical records and client communications.
• Performing data entry, organization, validation, and quality assurance for research datasets.
• Conducting basic statistical analyses and preparing research data for reporting.
• Examining cats enrolled in clinical trials, obtaining and interpreting laboratory samples, administering injections, and documenting findings as needed.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree or equivalent.
• Ability to accurately interpret veterinary medical records and clinical data.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact professionally with clients and research team members.
• Experience with clinical research, data management, or statistical analysis is preferred.

Qualifications

• Pre-exposure rabies prophylaxis vaccination series required prior to or immediately after hire.

Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Basic knowledge of statistical software (e.g., SPSS, SAS).

Pay

The anticipated pay rate will be $50/hr.

Schedule

This is a 6 month part-time position offering 10 hours per week.
