About the role
Reporting to the Director of Transportation, the Temporary Transportation & Production Specialist will be responsible for supporting activities related to inbound transportation and production. On occasion, this position will act as a liaison with Kendra Scott vendors and business partners, both internal and external. This is a high-energy environment seeking a passionate supply chain professional to join our team!
Responsibilities
- Assist with purchase order data organization and input into our software system- Oracle MFCS
- Assist in auditing purchase order data in MFCS.
- Updates tracking documents and communicates with cross-functional teams daily regarding inbound shipments
- Engages freight provider to book LTL/FTL shipments as requested from cross-functional teams
- Submits and monitors outbound package claims.
- Processes and maintains records for transportation invoices
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- 1+ years’ experience in a supply chain support role or 1+ years' experience in a compliance-based role
- Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Applications
- Analytical/Strong Attention to detail
- Excels in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communicator and collaborator
