About the role
CohnReznick is seeking a Temporary Tax Senior Associate to join our team in Los Angeles or Woodland Hills. This position is hybrid, with team members expected to be in the office on average 3 days a week.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the engagement lead on specific client accounts
- Take responsibility for pre-engagement planning, execution, and final deliverables
- Develop detailed engagement work plans
- Illustrate budgets and schedules
- Actively participate in proposals
- Manage a team of staff associates, including interns, while providing regular performance coaching and feedback
- Own the attributes of executive presence and emotional intelligence
- Eager to collaborate on client teams, thought leadership, webinars, and seminars
- Results focused on assisting both internal and external clients in achieving their wide-ranging goals
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required; Master's in Accounting/Taxation preferred
- CPA, JD or EA preferred
- Minimum 3-5 years tax experience in a public accounting firm
- Exceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships
- Strong tax research and writing skills
- Proven technical skills with MS Office to include Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Competence with tax compliance and research software to include Go Systems, BNA portfolio and projection, CCH, RIAS
- Solid project management and organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to multi-task
Qualifications
- Master's in Accounting/Taxation preferred

Pay
In California, the salary range for Tax Senior Associates is $80,000 - $115,000. Salary determination will vary based on factors such as a candidate’s geographical location, qualifications, experience, skills, and competencies.
Schedule
This position is hybrid, with team members expected to be in the office on average 3 days a week.
