Temporary Seasonal General Laborer

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads equipment.
• Trash and large debris pickup.
• Performs mowing and weed-eating.
• Performs weed cutting and removal.
• Drives company vehicles.
• Uses all power tools safely.
• Uses all equipment safely.
• Landscape herbicide application.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Landscaping, mowing, weed-eating, or herbicide application experience preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license with a 5-year clean MVR.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and federal background check.
• Ability to travel up to 8 weeks away from home at a time.
• (Hotel accommodation and per diem pay paid by DCS).
• Ability to lift 50–60 pounds.
• Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
• Prior vegetation spraying, landscaping, painting, tree work, or grounds maintenance experience preferred.
• CDL license is preferred but not required.

Additional Information

Compensation: $20-22 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.

Schedule: Temporary seasonal position – approximately 6-8 weeks.
